The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete maintains considerable social media audience
The young golfer can count on numerous well-known cheerleaders as she makes her first LPGA appearance later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates several golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He represents the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially reaching youth audiences.
The young star boasts millions of followers and has started an exclusive fashion and living brand.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
