Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window
A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official statement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.
"The jet touched down in accordance with standard procedures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative said in a social media post.
He was traveling back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.
This occurrence isn't the first time that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has suffered equipment failures.
Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to return to the US capital after experiencing a technical issue.
