Barça Ready for Inaugural Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday
Barcelona have announced their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host Athletic Bilbao in La Liga over two years since relocating for construction to commence.
“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.
